This word is a little tricky to translate. You would probably come across this word at the tail end of an e-mail – Yoroshiku Onegai itashimasu (よろしくお願いいたします) or simply Yoroshiku(casual). The dictionary meaning is “please be kind to me” or “please take care of me” . But these words sound a little weird at the end of an English mail, right?
For e.g. Here is a brief mail in Japanese.
マイクーさん、レポートをお添付としてお送りします。何かご不明な点がございましたらご連絡ください。よろしくお願いいたします。
The same in English would be…
Mike-san , I am sending the report herewith. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please be kind to me….?
Nah..you would probably just have to say “Thank you”:-)
